The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining stable and capable production/business processes as they pertain to equipment, facilities and tooling functionality following the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) model. The Manufacturing Engineer is required to maintain both machine/equipment capabilities as they relate to safety, throughput, quality, equipment integrity, and for monitoring/correcting related issues of assembly.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science in ME or equivalent Bachelor of Science in related technical discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Physics)
•Strong computer skills must be proficient in MS-Office, Auto-CAD
Preferred Qualifications:
•Advanced degree
•2 or more years manufacturing experience in automotive assembly
•Possess strong problem solving skills (SPC, DOE, Kaizen, and root cause analysis)
•Knowledgeable in areas of mistake proofing and problem solving techniques (MQP process, SPC, PFMEA, and FMEAC, part print reading, GD&T)
