Position Summary
The School of Packaging has two research associate positions available. Candidates are encouraged to apply if they have expertise in polymer processing (rheology, cast, and blown films, molding).
Candidates will be expected to design, develop, and perform experiments and report progress to Dr. Rabnawaz and Dr. Matuana. In addition, these candidates will be expected to mentor one or two graduate students in the research group.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering
Minimum Requirements
Candidates will have completed a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Sciences, or a closely related field by the position start date.
Desired Qualifications
Candidates will have a good record of productivity in polymer processing (e.g polymer blends, rheology, cast/blown films, molding etc.) and polymer characterization, (e.g. DSC, DMA, TGA, tensile properties.
