POSITION TITLE: MSW Outpatient Services Clinician - Adult's
POSITION STATUS: 80 hours biweekly / Regular Full-Time / Marquette Prof. Unit / Exempt
CLASSIFICATION:
- Base of $20.06 to ten years at $27.21 (LMSW, Level 5) Including Full-Time Benefits
- Base of $18.79 to ten years at $25.50 (LLMSW, Level 3) Including Full-Time Benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position could provide outpatient psychotherapy, intensive outpatient case management, or Supports Coordination services to a variety of clientele including adults, adolescents, children and families requesting services. This position makes diagnoses, develops treatment plans using the person centered planning process and provides treatment or appropriate referrals. Responsibilities also include monitoring treatment plans to assess recipient’s progress and readjusts as appropriate, carrying an active caseload, preparing case histories and needs assessments, providing counseling, follow-up, and aftercare. An employee in this class may be assigned specialization areas or special populations such as adult, child or adolescent. Crisis intervention (day and nighttime), groups, family or individual treatment may be assigned. Participation in the delivery of emergency services (daytime and evening) is required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work with State of Michigan licensure as a Masters of Social Work (LMSW) or Limited Licensed Masters of Social Work (LLMSW) required. Experience in professional human services is desired.
