Market Segment Specialist, Retail Banking, Bilingual in Korean
The Market Segment Specialist is responsible for contributing to the overall success of a Retail Banking Center by committing to banker readiness, conducting marketing activities leading to revenue growth in loans, deposits and noninterest income, contributing to a successful customer centric experience, proactively managing disciplined operational risk activities as directed. The primary role is to focus on a market segment as specifically outlined by management. This is an individual contributor position and is not assigned as a management authority in any capacity.
ResponsibilitiesMarketing
•* Develop and implement an individual business plan for growing an assigned portfolio of clients within the assigned market segment.
•Participates in the acquisition of consumer and business clients through the effective use of targeted leads, self-sourcing new business and managing referral source relationships, and attracting new customers to Comerica.
•Provides effective New Customer Onboarding and Customer Engagement by routinely strengthening new and current customer relationships, introducing new and existing customers to Comerica's products and services, addressing customer questions, e.g., how-to use products and services and follows-up on a timely basis.
•Supports Portfolio Management efforts to retain, expand and increase the number of portfolio customers in the Banking Center, with emphasis on assigned segment specialty.
•Executes and positively impacts the proactive marketing activities for the attraction, expansion and retention of customers, with primary focus on segment assigned specialty.
•Completes assigned Daily Plan activities, as directed by manager.
•Impact revenue growth of the Banking Center, with trackable actions and measurable results.
•Other duties as assigned, as deemed appropriate by banking center manager/assistant manager.
Operational Risk
•Positively Impacts the operational and risk activity and related results for the Market Segment role when opening accounts/loans and servicing the customer.
•Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations; and Comerica policies and procedures.
•Complete necessary compliance related training within deadlines.
•Control losses by following policies and procedures.
•Submit transactions within authority to a CSR for processing.
•Other duties as assigned, as deemed appropriate by banking center manager/assistant manager.
•C Able to Approach First, Asses Needs and Add Value to customers and prospects by utilizing the customer centric sales tools available. Consistently demonstrates the 4A' standards.

Partnership Activities
•Engage in positive partnering by working proactively to build collaborative relationships with members of the immediate assigned banking center and within the International Department to enhance portfolio, pipeline and customer experience.
•Develop a relationship with the partner to support business development.
•Proactively identify opportunities to add value to customers by introducing them to partners.
•The MSS will collaborate with the International Department, to grow Retail Bank relationships through in person calling and referrals.
•Other duties as assigned, as deemed appropriate by banking center manager/assistant manager.

This position requires local travel 50% of the time.
