Job Summary:
Boards surgical cases, collecting, maintaining and inputting patient information from physicians or designee following department and service policies and protocols. Moves/places cases as needed under the direction of manager/charge nurse. Communicates boarding information to all ancillary departments. Receives and records information from the departments and incorporates into file as needed. Helps plan the daily schedule and coordinate its assembly to publish, distributing information to hospital departments and personnel. Coordinates placement of cases within the main OR and Area A.
Minimum Requirements:

Education: High School diploma required
•
Experience: previous scheduling and/or surgical boarding experience, medical terminology and word processing skills required.
