Job Summary: The purpose of this job is to develop the Max and Debra Ernst Center for Advanced Heart Failure and includes creating a system of marketing, patient referral and patient flow through the clinic. Responsibilities are also to manage the patient care from the initial referral through post-procedure and follow-up care. The result of successfully performing this job will be a busy clinic at Beaumont Hospital, with both physicians and patients being very satisfied with the care and continuing to seek the Ernst Center as their facility of choice in the management of Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, and preventive cardiology services.

Education / Training: RN Bachelor's Degree Required, BLS (hospital policy), ACLS (hospital policy)
Work Experience: 5 years nursing experience required, 3 years clinical cardiology experience required
Certification, Licensure, Registration: Registered Nurse License (State of Michigan)
Other Qualifications: Experience with congestive heart failure patients. Minimally invasive valve and surgical techniques, structural heart abnormalities, and A Fib experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to communicate and educate physicians, staff, and patients. Must be able to function independently but also work as part of a team. Must be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude, have compassion and excellent patient relationship skills.
