- Master’s degree and three to five years of teaching experience.
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate with special education endorsement in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder or a willingness to seek one of these endorsements with an existing endorsement in another special education area.
- Knowledge and experience in programming for students with ASD of various ages.
- Knowledge and experience in consulting with regular and special education teachers.
- Knowledge and experience in facilitating integration of students with ASD with their general education peers.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to organize and multi-task effectively.
