Position Summary
Responsible to support Corporate Treasury operations; conduct analysis and recommend borrowing amounts and provide analytical support for treasury operations.
Minimum Requirements
Degrees
Bachelor's Degree (Required) Finance
Accounting, Business Management, Economics or related area.
Job Experience
Three years Treasury or related experience.
Certified Treasury Professional certification preferred.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Oversee, design and implement efficient cash management systems and programs for the Company's operations to ensure timely deposit of revenues; drive continuous improvement to cash management systems and practices to maximize utilization of cash assets, improve processing efficiency and minimize idle cash balances.
Responsible to track and analyze all payment system exposures and risk mitigation strategies utilizing various methods (i.e. positive pay, ACH positive pay, debit blocks, etc.); initiate disbursement of wire transfers/ACH's as required.
Administer the company credit card programs to include card issuance and cancellation, setting/changing card spending limits, etc. Ensure guidelines are followed and documents are submitted in a timely manner and work with associates and management to review and approve exceptions as appropriate.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with cross-functional departments and financial service providers; negotiate competitive fees and services and act as a liaison in problem resolution when needed.
Prepare insurance submissions for property and casualty insurance programs and respond to requests for insurance certificates.
Design, develop and implement short-term cash flow and debt forecasts to determine borrowing needs to minimize company interest expense; work with Treasurer to determine long-term cash flow forecasting.
Serve as compliance officer for Federal Patriot Act requirements; responsible to monitor and file applicable forms (i.e. Suspicious Activity Report, Currency Transaction Report, etc.), review compliance at store level and ensure proper training of associates.
Work with store operations to ensure all retail location payment proceeds are handled appropriately and on time; work with external contacts (armored car services, bank vaults, etc.) to resolve any service issues.
Employ sufficient internal controls for the company's Treasury-related processes. Maintain proper spreadsheet controls and ensure accuracy of files used to reconcile deposits, disbursements, and interest expense, and to calculate interest accruals.
Conduct analysis of Accounts Receivables/Inventory, gather, research and/or follow up to ensure accurate information as required to prepare period borrowing base report for submission to bank(s). Recommend short term borrowing or investment decisions to optimize working capital of the organization.
Prepare treasury related analysis for merger acquisitions as required; participate in projects as requested.
Maintain current knowledge of legal regulations, industry trends and best Accounting/Treasury practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes and to ensure company legal compliance.

Ability to work with multiple projects and deadlines in a rapidly changing environment. Strong financial/spreadsheet modeling skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with PeopleSoft preferred.
