Budget Analyst
Key Role:
Provide financial analysis, tracking, and financial management support to assist the client with achieving and maintaining fiscal accountability of allocated funds. Assist the client staff with efforts to anticipate and track incoming resources, coordinate transfer of funds to supporting commands, track expenditures against anticipated activities and projects, and generate required reporting documentation. Perform a wide variety of technical tasks in support of the financial analysis process, including gathering, compiling, and analyzing data from a broad range of sources and using a variety of analytical techniques. This position is located in Warren, MI.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with professional budget or finance work
-Experience with budget cycles for federal government activity, including Army Material Command (AMC)
-Knowledge of the implementation and execution of the budgeting and evaluation process
-Ability to perform data manipulation via spreadsheets from visualization to management
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in Accounting or Finance
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with AMC systems or programs
-Experience with DoD financial management and accounting systems, including GFEBS
-Active Secret clearance
-MA or MS degree
-Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certification
