Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance
Description:
*Provide manufacturing equipment and processes for new and existing projects to include PPAP readiness, FTQ commitments, cost and safety
*Provide technical engineering support for manual and automated equipment
*Provide electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic modifications to existing equipment to enhance safety, quality, and performance
*Provide manufacturing support on any shift, including weekends
*Provide on the job training to Maintenance and Production personnel
*Provide work instructions, process monitor setups
*Set-up spare parts, preventative maintenance instructions
*This is a 2nd shift position.
Requirements:
*Troubleshooting of Sonic Staking, IR welding, Atlas Copco Screw Guns, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Presses, ABB/Fanuc Robots, Vibration Welding, Part Detection Devices (proximity sensors, lasers, photo eyes, light curtains)
*Ability to troubleshoot Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Circuits
*Competent ability with computer programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, AutoCad)
*Effective problem solving skills – root cause and eliminate issues
*Work effectively in a team environment
*Ability to lead and complete multiple projects simultaneously and under demanding situation
*Strong degree of self-motivation and self-direction
*Strong communication and documentation skills
*Familiarity with instrument panel and door panel manufacturing processes, systems, tools and materials (preferred)
Education:
*High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years' experience required.
*Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
