Allegan General Hospital seeks a part time Housekeeper to work for our Environmental Services department.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, but may not be limited to:
-Cleans the hospital, including patient care areas, offices, corridor, stairwells, and entryways, following hospital guidelines and procedures.
-Always uses the seven-step cleaning process for patient care areas, offices, and meeting rooms.
-Organizes and maintains records, including but not limited to documenting counts and signing bio hazard manifests, linen count and supply count.
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE, but may not be limited to:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Ability to clean patient rooms and offices with minimal disturbance to inhabitants.
-Ability to interact with patients, families and co-workers in a positive manner.
-Ability to follow directions.
-Skill in observing situations and decision making.
-Skill in dealing courteously with the public.
-Ability to effectively communicate.
-Ability to handle sensitive situations
-Effective communication skills
