Summary
As a Transmission Operations Sr. Field Leader in GCTO (Gas Construction & Transmission Operations), your primary responsible will be capital project supervision and project oversight across the Transmission Operation Organization (Gas Storage, Pipeline and M&R). You will be responsible for engaging the field leaders and removing barriers for the safe and productive execution of the Gas Operation capital project execution and completion. Adherence to existing standards, processes and procedures will be critical to the overall success of the organizations execution of maintenance plans and regulatory adherence on a statewide basis. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for oversight of capital construction projects, coordinating projects with key stakeholders (Engineering, Project Management, etc.,) which may include execution of written operating procedures and related field work.

•Provide direct/indirect supervision to field leaders responsible for capital project execution.
•Lead and provide technical expertise to Gas Operation and Maintenance field employees.
•Interact with internal and external customers, including but not limited to project managers, construction managers and engineers, in a professional manner.
•Direct and support work activities to meet established work plans and objectives.
•Identify gaps in processes and implement solutions in collaboration with Sr. field leader team.
•Plan and facilitate team and department meetings.
•Motivate, team-build and problem solve in a competitive business environment by continually encouraging sound employee decision-making.
•Utilize strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate sensitive issues.
•Develop strong working relationships with Local Union officials.
•Provide strong leadership while promoting safe work behaviors.
•Willingness to be on-call on a regular basis and work unusual hours through unplanned events is required.
•Responsible for ensuring that capital projects meet SQDCM initiatives

Requirements/Qualifications:
•A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
•6 or more years of applicable exempt work experience or equivalent non-exempt work experience, to include experience in gas transmission, gas distribution, gas construction, gas service, or gas compression and storage and at least 3 years of successful performance in the Gas Field Leader role or other comparable supervisory experience

•A robust knowledge of the working agreement, safe work practices and previous supervisory and demonstrated leadership experience.
•Knowledge of Gas operations practices, standards, and regulatory requirements
•Natural gas utility experience with a strong mechanical background in maintenance of gas Transmission facilities.
•Knowledge and experience with maintenance management system SAP.
Essential Functions
This position is responsible for the safe and effective execution of construction activities in gas transmission activities. This includes working with the union employees, field leaders, and peers to establish and maintain a culture in which safe and excellent operations are executable. This includes identifying barriers and working to remove them. In addition, this position will be required to work with their teams and peers to establish safe working standards, and will be a champion of implementing the standards to their teams. The successful candidate will be required to maintain a safety and process oriented culture in both project work and day to day maintenance and operations.
Hours and Travel
This position requires the individual to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Individual needs to be willing to work additional hours as necessary to meet deadlines or assist with gas emergent activities and could be given very short notice to do so. Individual will participate in the on call rotation. Individual may have work in several different geographical areas which may require overnight stays. Individual may potentially work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the customer, which may include: evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
