Job Description:
•This software requirements core engineering position is offered within the Software Technical Design and Code Quality Assurance group in OEM.
•In this position, the embedded software engineer will develop and maintain software requirements for common operational aspects of embedded microcontrollers for in vehicle electronic control modules.
•A deep understanding of microcontroller operating systems, I/O configuration, timers, interrupts, CAN, memory controllers, etc. with corresponding understanding of design tradeoffs will be necessary to be successful in this position.
•Additionally, AUTOSAR implementation experience is a must.
Skills Required:
•Requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a related field.
•Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
•Ability to lead team discussions with passionate team members to result in agreement of global company software requirements.
•AUTOSAR implementation experience.
•Experience in writing or implementing automotive requirements.
Experience Required:
•5 years of experience in the position offered or performing software development of embedded systems.
•5 years of experience using C and C++.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a related field
Education Preferred:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a related field
