Please be aware on Thursday, March 28, 2024, between 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST, there will be a scheduled downtime for users of the Pure Michigan Talent Connect (PMTC). We are using this time to enhance our overall service delivery.
A valid drivers license is required. You will not be accepted into the program without one. A high school diploma or G.E.D is required. You will need to provide a copy to be accepted into the program. Math assessments will be scheduled at your nearest Michigan Works! American Job Center if all application requirements are met. Any applicant who scores a level 5 or higher in Workkeys Assessment will be interviewed.

Job Description
The Carpenter & Millwright training facility in Marquette, MI provides training for all Millwright Apprentices in the Upper Peninsula. Apprentices attend their school sessions in a "block training" format, attending for one week at a time, four times per year. Apprentices must complete a total of 640 hours of related training over four years. Upon completion, Millwright Apprentices will receive their Millwright Journeyman certification.
