The primary duties of the Senior Connected and Autonomous Systems Specialist include planning, analysis, and design for projects in the fields of Connected Vehicle, Autonomous Vehicles, Intelligent Transportation System Evaluations, and other Transportation Technologies. Serve as HDR's Technical Expert in Systems Design and Technology Systems Planning, Requirements Development and Specification, Impact Analysis, and provide expert guidance to HDR Clients on the adoption, utilization, and impacts of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles. Serve as a Task Leader on projects within these fields. Establishes client relations, and is involved with the marketing, contractual, design and production meetings. Participates in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance. Conducts work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff. *LI-KY1

Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineer, or technical experience in automated vehicles, ITS, etc.
10 years technical experience
Must have previous experience with System Engineering Process in relation to Connected and Autonomous Vehicles
Highly competent in both oral and written communications
