GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Clinical Decision Support & Healthcare Analytics both leads and serves as a critical resource to provide detailed performance analyses related to specific segments and populations supported by the Beaumont Employer Services Team and the Managed Care Department, more broadly. This position requires skills in the reporting and presentation of financial, clinical and utilization data and will focus on business operations, benchmarks and goals to guide strategic decisions.This position uses experience, knowledge and data to provide insightful analysis and guidance to clinical operators through robust financial and clinical modeling and will be responsible for financial reconciliation activities for value-based programs and managed care contract modeling support. The Vice President of Clinical Decision Support & Healthcare Analytics also produces and distributes regular interactive reporting dashboards to stakeholders in the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•Provides analytic insight to clinical program performance, resource utilization, and service profitability.
•Provides support in modeling complex fee for service contract arrangements.
•Provides guidance to leadership on utilization and financial performance compared to budget, prior year, or benchmarks respective to value-based programs or arrangements.
• Performs complex financial evaluations and modeling of new programs/ventures and multifaceted value based arrangementsFacilitates the production and distribution of reports/dashboard and other ad-hoc utilization and cost analyses as requested.
•Performs ongoing and end-of-period reconciliation analysis for value-based arrangements.
• Designs and produces financial reports to meet the decision-making needs of senior management and align with marketing initiatives and strategies to target and develop new accounts within the prescribed segmentation.
•Responsible for monthly data loads to various analytic platforms and ensures clinical data quality and integrity, at regular intervals performs data quality assurance checksInteracts and engages internal and external stakeholders as required.
