The wiADVISOR Software Development Lead will be responsible for the software development, validation and deployment of wiADVISOR enhancements and new features. The software applications will interface with FCA and third party systems to provide FCA dealerships with industry leading service write-up and repair order management tools that greatly enhance the customer service experience, while providing significant service process improvement within the dealership. The wiADVISOR Software Development Lead will be working with FCA stakeholders and multiple suppliers (both locally and internationally) to deliver software applications, including user interface / user experience (UI/UX) development, API development, as well as maintenance and support activities for hosting and infrastructure of wiADVISOR in AWS.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Software design, development and release of wiADVISOR applications
•Web SERVICE APPLICATION development
•Hosting and infrastructure management within Amazon Web Services (AWS)
•Development of QA/UAT test cases to support product delivery
•Issue tracking and management using JIRA
•Business requirements definition
•Help desk support – diagnose and resolve technical issues from the field
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technologies
•Minimum 3 years of experience with the following technologies: Node JS, JavaScript, Typescript, Mongo, MySql
•Minimum 5 years of experience developing high performing and mission critical software applications
•Project management skills related to the development and deployment of software applications
Preferred Qualifications:
•5 years of experience using one or more cloud platforms (preferably AWS), understanding of networking, core Internet protocols and cloud/multi-tier architectures, familiarity with deployment orchestration
•5 years of experience working with continuous delivery frameworks and tools as well as implementation of engineering proof of concepts around cloud platforms
•Proven ability to multi-task and re-prioritize based on changing requirements and priorities
