About this Position
Supports Vehicle Test and Validation (VT&V) activities for advanced engineering automated driving and active safety development projects
Responsibilities and Duties
•Comply with VT&V corporate procedures
•Create test development schedules and test execution schedules utilizing test resources at local and remote VT&V sites
•Data analysis
•Create test reports
•Plan and Perform Verification Testing Activities
•Analyze requirements and establish traceability using requirements management tools
•Develop verification test strategy and plans
•Review functional test plans with team members
•Develop test cases and review with team
•Lead and conduct pre-verification events
•Report test results to project team and customer
•Track and resolve identified issues
•Represent Independent Test Verification in customer and program team meetings
•Develop and debug test system configuration
•Design and fabricate cables
•Specify electrical loads (real and simulated)
•Configure tester software to simulate normal product inputs and monitor output signals
•Provide interface between Product Engineers and VT&V Test Engineers at remote sites where global development and test resources are assigned
•Provide input, monitor, and report on budget for test
Need to Haves (Basic Qualifications)
•Bachelors' Degree within Engineering
•1+ years' experience
•Ability to establish schedules utilizing available resources
•Entry level software development skills
•Basic understanding of electrical circuits
•Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Tools Word, Excel
•Ability to read and understand technical specifications
•Ability to interpret product specifications
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)
•Understanding of vehicle systems
•Experience with Matlab and Excel for data mining and analysis
•Experience with Vector CANAlyzer or CANoe
•Vehicle level testing experience
•Experience with ADAS and Automated Vehicle operation
•Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
•Ability to analyze product requirements and determine test strategies
•Working knowledge of DOORS
•Working knowledge of Configuration Management
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Structured problem solving skills
