Position Summary:
Are you our next Intern in EPIC "Magic & Mechanics Engineering"?
You will become a member of our EPIC Mechanics engineering team, and work together with the more experienced senior engineers.
We are a global cross-functional team, and our tasks are to engineer sound integration, industrial designed modules, and to bring "magic" user experience, into luxury car interior, in combination with our Harman sound systems.
We work primarily in the concept phase of the car's "life", which will give you the opportunity to see some of your CAD designs being realized in a car, from e.g. our own 3D printer or via parts fabricated at some of our prototype suppliers.
We support Mechanics engineering and user experience for all our car sound brands and too many high branded cars in; USA, EU, and Asia
Example of a project we provided:
•Movable Loudspeaker coming up of the Instrument Panel
•Light modules integrated in Loudspeaker Grills, even floating movable light
•Exciting and exclusive Speaker Grills in different material, integrated into the door panel
•Re-engineering of a car interior, as preparation for a new sound system integration

Job Responsibilities:
•Perform mechanics engineering in different materials as plastic, steel, and aluminum.
•Provide CAD (CATIA) files for part fabrication
•Provide concept and mechanics architecture/ideas to a given project
Assist with assembly of prototypes, and concept cars
Perform Mechanics engineering calculations and simulations
Basic Qualifications:
•Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Sophmore year or later, within mechanics engineering
•Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
•Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives
•Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Eligibility Requirements:
•Willingness to travel.
•Willingness to work in an office.
