Project engineer utilizing CAM, CAD, CAE to lead investigation & analysis of stress, fatigue, plasticity, vibration factors in structures, durability/sustainability/characterization of construction materials, environmental factors/impacts, including for wind turbines & offshore rigs, aerospace & auto apps & materials; devise systems & processes for collection & analysis of data for preceding functions; use linear & non-linear deformation analysis to select optimal materials for above uses; improve mechanical characteristics of products, materials, devices through preceding types of research analysis & design/eng.; coordinate projects; verify structural integrity by using & developing analytical methods, FE models/simulations & other analytic tools during product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics & performance; lead development of test plans & configurations, support test execution & analyze test results to validate & verify systems & components.
Requires Master’s in civil, mechanical, materials or related; 2 yrs. exp. utilizing CAD/CAE/CAM for stress, fatigue, plasticity, linear & non-linear deformation & reliability, including wind turbines & offshore rigs; materials characterization.
