Teaching and related responsibilities include but are not limited to: teaching Career Education and Exploration courses, utilizing face-to-face, mixed and/or online modes of delivery assuring learning through assessment, close consultation with program faculty, and training via the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning; and submitting syllabi to the department and participating in departmental assessment of courses. Adjunct faculty members are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach at our main Big Rapids campus and other Michigan locations. The Office of Transfer and Secondary School Partnerships will contact potential applicants when there are available openings. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Required: Master's degree in Education, Higher Education, Career and Tech Education, or a related field such as certified career educator. Previous experience teaching or counseling career decision-making at the secondary and/or post-secondary level.
