POSITION SUMMARY:
Description
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining product properties and models essential to computer aided engineering applications. This includes developing physics and analytics models, test methods, coordinating testing, developing fatigue models, automating data collection and analysis, and managing relevant data for multiple product lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Evaluating, updating, and developing various product models essential to computer aided engineering applications.
* Coordinate implementation of product models with software development, product development, and product line management.
* Developing and standardizing test methods to determine critical product properties.
* Coordinating and collecting relevant data from a variety of sources including laboratory testing and application measurements.
* Automating the data collection and analysis to speed future development
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operates under general direction from senior professional.
* May provide guidance and work direction to less senior professionals.
* May lead project teams under the direction of a team sponsor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Five years of applicable experience within the areas of product development, application/system engineering, advanced analysis, or product data development.
* Experience with probability, reliability, and statistical methods in engineering.
* Experience in multi-variable regression and fitting multi-variable models.
* Experience with MS Excel, MATLAB, Python, R, MATHCAD, Minitab, DesignExpert or other equivalent tools.
* Prefer experience with higher level programming languages (for example C#) and developing macros in Excel.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Demonstrated ability to design experiments to efficiently determine constants for multi-variable models of product performance.
* Demonstrated ability to transform test data into accurate product models.
* Strong proficiency with calculation tools.
* Good listening skills, builds strong relationships, is flexible/open-minded, negotiates effectively, solicits performance feedback and handles constructive criticism.
* Builds collaborative relationships, shares knowledge and is aware of how individual actions impact others.
* Targets and achieves results, sets challenging goals, prioritizes tasks, overcomes obstacles, accepts accountability, sets team standards and responsibilities, provides leadership/motivation
* Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts and results through written reports and presentations.as Oracle.
