POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist the Operations department by providing clerical and administrative support
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Operations department
- Update and input route information into the computer system. Route information may include driver time sheets, downtime, productivity, red phone items or other data
- Assist Dispatchers by responding to customer and driver complaints and inquiries
- Maintain and process operations information, such as vehicle maintenance, accounting and route sheets
- Track all CDL files i.e. med card expirations and CDL expirations
- Maintain evening Driver Check-in process
- Distribute, collect and review route sheets for proper billing and productivity reports
- Assist in generating monthly and ad hoc reports
- May also assist other departments including customer service
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

- Ability to use a computer and related devices, such as a keyboard, mouse and other related equipment, throughout the workday while seated at a desk or workstation
- Knowledge in routing and dispatching
- Ability to organize various office systems

Education: High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent work experience

- Usual office equipment including calculator, telephone, fax, computer and copier
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Company information systems applications

- Ability to organize various office systems through adjusting, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending or folding for the purpose or proper records development and/or management

- Possess speaking skills and hearing ability to interact with customers on the telephone
