Dvlp/validate engine calibrations to meet emissions reqmts of U.S.OBDII &EuropeanOBD regs. Collect engine test data on vehicle, dynamometer, &test bench, develop &improve calibrations, using ETAS-INCA, ETAS-MDA, Vector vSignalyzer, MATLAB &Simulink tools, &GM tools such as Serial Data Suite &DSAT. Support engine testing &validation field trips for high altitude, hot/cold weather engine testing in MI/AZ/CO/&DeathValley CA. Required U.S. travel to perform engine testing, ~4 weeks P/Yr (equal to ~8% annual travel).
