What you will do
About the role :
•Thisskilled position involves the installation and servicing of ElectronicArticle Surveillance (EAS), CCTV, Card Access and RFID systems
•Organizeand effectively utilize technical resources, information, material andsupport to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
•Completeand submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and otherdocumentation in a timely manner.
•Candidatemust possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstandingcustomer service skills.
•Troublingshooting and repairing installed systems.
How you will do it
•2-3 weeks formal training in EAS and CCTV products when available.
•Individual will also train with senior tech locally and receive ongoing technical support from Home Office.
•Utilize all training, education, skill sets, knowledge, resources to ensure 100% complete customer satisfaction.
•Enlist the help from peers, trainers, TS, manager and support staff to ensure success.
Qualifications
What we look for
•Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
•Understandingof networks and IP infrastructure
•1-2 year CCTV experience
•Construction knowledge a plus
•Associates Degree in Electronicsor equivalent
•Knowledgein reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, andoperational/product manuals.
•Knowledgeof test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
•Abilityto work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
•Participatein a scheduled On-call rotation.
•Demonstratea high level of customer service, strong organizational skills, positiveattitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
•Capableof performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment andtools up to 50-70 lbs.
•Ableto work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbingladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working withinducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
•Possessa valid driver's license and driving record that meets companyrequirements.
•Abilityto adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures atall times.
•Ableto pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
•Sometravel required
•Strong communication skills
•Must be able to multi-task
•Ability to navigate using variousMicrosoft products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
