Recruit Specialized Staffing is seeking a Shop Supervisor for our client in New Boston, MI.
Position Overview:
Oversee, coordinate and maintain all tooling operations.
Role / Responsibilities:
Inspect & repair forge dies and trim tooling
Prepare tooling to go into production runs
Participate in the quality board
Coordinate delivery of tooling between facilities and associated paperwork
Report the status of the production tooling on a daily basis to management
Maintain an inventory system for tooling items
Repair tooling while in production as a corrective measure when needed
Delegate work to and supervise other members in the tooling department
Communicate tooling related issues to all levels of management
Skills / Competencies:
Understanding of all applicable quality and environmental standards
Good understanding of engineering and tooling
Deal with stressful and intense situations
Communicate literate
Ability to read blue prints
Specific Vocational Preparation (education & experience level)
High School diploma or equivalent experience
6 years minimum job related experience
Physical Strength Guide:
Medium – Exert force to 20 – 50 lbs. occasionally or 10-25 lbs. frequently
Other:
Steel Toe Safety Boots
Hilo License
Must pass drug Test
Must pass background check
Must have two Valid ID’s
