The Vehicle Integration Lead/Adaptation Responsible will report to the Program Vehicle Integration Responsible and the responsibilities will include leading the integration of L2+ systems into base program, setting targets for all vehicle-level functional objectives, creating vehicle-level test plan (DVP&R), managing engineering and competitive fleets, leading vehicle validation trips (hot / cold, drive backs, etc.), assessing Mule/VP vehicles prior to custodian delivery, leading engineering R/D events, and supporting corporate events (ride/drive, press events, brand immersion day, auto shows, dealer immersion, etc.).
The Adaptation Responsible will also assess vehicle level functional risk, own the vehicle-level scorecard, manage system/component integration trade-offs to ensure vehicle functional objectives are achieved, lead resolution for vehicle level issues, act as first responder for vehicle-level issues, lead umbrella and vehicle integration team meetings, lead mule build planning, and coordinate issue resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program
•Eight years of engineering experience
•Ability to use diagnostics and data acquisition tools such as IBox and CDA
•Highly motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills
•Ability to manage large teams and drive resolution to issues
•Ability to communicate complicated / complex issues into simple concepts
•Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
•Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program or an MBA
•Design and release experience in ADAS
•Development and validation experience in ADAS
•Ability to use diagnostics tools such as CANalyzer and CANOE
•Positive attitude and fact driven solutions expected
