Description
The Materials 3 (Production Piledown) position assists in accurately handling inventory according to Standard Operating Procedures. The Materials team works together to receive, store, pick, pack and ship product to clients. At the Materials 3 level team members are proficient and able to work independently to ensure that all material is verified, stored and picked correctly. Material 3 (Production Piledown) is responsible for locating, handling, staging and distribution of extrusion material used in production.
The Materials team wears required PPE: safety glasses, safety toe shoes, gloves, ear plugs and hard hats as needed. The team works safely to ensure that employees do not incur bodily harm. The team uses care and respect to ensure that equipment and/or property is not damaged. The team works together to keep the warehouse area clean.
Materials 3 (Production Piledown)
•Perform all duties as described in Standard Operating Procedures and Detailed Job Instructions
•Maintain inventory control and inventory accuracy for all parts in assigned areas.
•Perform daily cycle counts of extrusions and purchased parts.
•Check fabrication cradles to ensure accuracy of incoming material.
•Locate missing or late material. Take necessary steps to ensure product is shipped per schedule.

•Perform warehouse duties as assigned.
•Must have a valid Hilo license or have the ability to obtain and retain one.
•Restock storage areas.
•Use sideloader to move cradles of material.
•Count units and check product identity per pick and pack lists.
•Ensure that all inventory is stored and distributed properly.
•Assist with incidental packing, shipping and receiving.
Requirements
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Hi-lo experience and ability to obtain a sideloader license
•Ability to read and interpret Work Orders and Standard Operating Procedures
•Basic math skills
•Able to work at a fast pace to ensure production goals are met
•Able to read a tape measure accurately
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to obtain a power industrial equipment permit
•Strong attention to detail
•Strong communication skills
•Previous warehouse, shipping, distribution or receiving experience
•Excellent demonstrated attendance and dependability
•Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer demands
•Ability to walk for minimum of 8 hours
•Ability to frequently move product up to 75 pounds
•Ability to frequently bend, lift, push, pull, and twist while carrying product
