Off shift - 2nd or 3rd shift
Job Summary
Responsible for the safe, quality conscious operation during set up of molding machines using established procedures and in cooperation with Supervision to ensure all presses are running efficiently, meeting all goals (i.e., scrap, efficiency). Responsible to Mold product to established standards and guidelines.
Main Responsibilities
1. Complete tool changes on injection molding machines per SOP and schedule.
2. Troubleshoot issues and perform machine and tool PMs.
3. Complete weekly preventive maintenance on machines and tools.
4. Set up press side assembly machines as needed.
5. Responsible for identifying and maintaining a clean (5s) and safe work area.
6. Responsible for providing accurate information on productivity, quality, and safety to their Supervisor.
7. Timely and accurate completion of required paperwork.
8. Safe Hilo and Crane operation.
9. Operate handheld scanners and scan material into inventory.
10. Attend required training per requirements.
11. Attend pre-shift and other scheduled meetings.
12. Comply with job rotation requirements.
13. Provide training to other employees when necessary.
14. Maintain Mold change equipment.
15. Must be able to perform all Resin Handlers duties as needed.
16. All other duties as assigned.
