Overview
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) analyst is responsible for supporting the ongoing creation, implementation and maturation of a world class Enterprise Resource Planning system that provides the forum for strategic and proactive data based decision making. The ERP process brings transparency to forecasted resource gaps, as well as enables leaders to better optimize resources, meet greater levels of customer commitments, and reduce waste.
Responsibilities include improving the current process for mid-term demand and resource planning data aggregation and reporting across the enterprise (3-24 month rolling forecast). Additional responsibilities include helping to drive deployment and process adoption across organizations and leadership levels; and coaching leaders/participants so that they and their respective organizations become more adept at aligning demand with resources, understanding gaps and making decisions using data based scenarios.
Reports to the Manager of Enterprise Resource Planning
Primary Responsibilities
•Develop, improve and create advanced reporting that aggregates ERP data from across the company to be used for business planning, resource optimization and management reviews
•Provide leaders, including senior leadership, with effective and accurate aggregated demand and resource data to support decision making and alignment with strategic, financial and operational plans
•Provide analytical support to improve the quality and timeliness of ERP reporting
•Support planners, analysts and leaders as needed to improve ERP data, in coordination with the appropriate management resources
•Form and lead cross-functional teams involving leadership from across business processes and leadership levels (i.e, Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, HR) to reconcile and resolve projected resource requirements/demand imbalances
•Support the expansion and optimization of the ERP process across organizations through collaboration and alignment with business partners
•Continuously improve the ERP process and data quality through simplification of data integration, development of work standards and other process efficiencies
•Ensure ongoing design of the ERP process reflects best practices while supporting organization structures, accountabilities and CMS specific complexities
•Help drive organizational adoption of the ERP process to improve visibility and utilization of resources (labor hours, materials, fleet, etc.)
•Provide insight into best practice reporting tools & ERP platforms
•Responsible for updating key metrics to measure the performance/health of the ERP process
Education/Experience:
•Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration or related field required
•2+ years of experience with formal Enterprise Resource Planning or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) experience preferred. Candidates with Financial Planning experience or related roles along with operational experience will be considered
•5+ Financial Planning experience or related roles along with operational experience will be considered

•Demand and/or Resource Planning experience using ERP applications, preferably SAP, required
•Advanced, hands on application of ERP or S&OP data aggregation and reporting using SAP or other ERP tools
•Significant experience and comfort with planning and quantitative models, drawing insights from large and complex datasets and translating those into actionable strategies
•Strong business acumen, advanced analytical skills
•Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and drive solutions cross-functionally across organizations and with senior management
