About Advanced Safety and User Experience
Advanced Safety and User Experience encompasses our deep expertise in software, centralized computing platforms, advanced safety systems and automated driving focusing on five areas that are transforming mobility: Safety Electronics, Infotainment, User Experience, Autonomous Driving and Connectivity & Security.
We have exciting opportunities for Systems Engineer(s) located in Troy, MI.
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for analyzing customer requirements and developing product requirements
•Responsible for verification and validation of the product hardware & software
•Responsible for the design, development and upkeep of the product hardware and software instrumentation in the vehicle
•Responsible for developing vehicle test procedures, tracking verification status and initiating issue resolution
•Design, develop and validate new products and technology such that capability, cost, and quality satisfy the customer requirements
•Ensure that System Common Process deliverables are completed on time per the project schedule and meet System Quality Assurance standards
•Follow APTIV design standards, guidelines, best practices, procedures and policies
•Participate in requirement/design peer reviews for projects within and outside the Safety Product Line
Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering
•1+ years of Electrical/Electronic requirements & design experience
•1+ years of Microcontroller/Embedded system requirements & design experience
•1+ years of Customer Requirements management experience
•1+ years of Programming experience (C or other language)
•1+ years of MATLAB experience
Nice to haves: (Preferred Qualifications)
•ADAS Experience
•Vehicle communication & testing
•Structured problem solving skills
