We are currently looking for a Configuration Data Technician to join our team in Big Rapids, MI.
As a Configuration Data Technician, you will:
Process change orders for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems data changes. This includes creation and maintenance of the product, Bill of Material (BOM) data, associated product configuration structures and movement of data from development environments to production environments. Additionally, maintaining the drawing and part number database in OnLine Parts System (OLPS) with any additions and deletions.
Do you have the following required qualifications?
- Associate’s Degree or Technical School degree in engineering or computer/information systems, or 4 years’ experience data configuration, data modeling or software programming.
- 1 year of experience of data configuration, data modeling or software programming in SAP or other ERP/MRP systems in addition to the above.
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to work in Big Rapids, MI without relocation assistance.
- Ability to travel between Holland, Big Rapids and Ludington (day trips) on a regular basis.
Do you have the following preferred qualifications?
- Experience using SAP.
- Experience using BOM and product configuration preferred.
- Experience working with Haworth specific systems and technologies.
- Experience working in the furniture industry.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
- Processed Change Orders by loading appropriate database systems with part, BOM, and configuration data to support effective customer order entry and processing.
- Initiated progression and transfer of data between client environments and Systems, Applications, Processes (SAP) database to support defined progression of data for production readiness.
- Created configuration rules and related information to support product configuration data sets, as well as BOMs and routings. Assists with testing configuration models to ensure completeness, accuracy, and repeatability.
