Job Title: Regional Sales and Business Development Representative
Kimco Services is looking for a dynamic Sales and Business Development Professional. In this role, the successful Sales and Business Development Professional possesses strong communication skills, both verbal and written. He/she quickly responds to customer questions and requests. Must have ability to work with little direction, have a keen attention to detail, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Job responsibilities include generating new sales and managing contract rebids as assigned. Assist with designing, costing, and qualifying new business opportunities in cooperation with the Business Development and Operations teams. Primary programs include janitorial and other facility services. Position will be based in Detroit, MI. Major Responsibilities include enhancing pipeline opportunities within Texas and surrounding states. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to establish excellent rapport and develop relationships over the long term selling cycle. Identify necessary support resources to successfully close new business. Exhibit high energy, positive attitude, and excellent communication/presentation skills. Communicate effectively across the organization both horizontally and vertically. Work collaboratively with Operations teams. In this role, frequent customer presentations, bid quotes and financial analysis will occur. The successful candidate will be a super user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
