Position Summary:
Perform System Integration and Test of high-end automotive infotainment systems. Execute and write automated regression test. Has some familiarity with Audio/Video, Navigation, Bluetooth, Voice Recognition and iPod technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
* Support DV build activities, working with Pilot Plant, Mechanical and Hardware Engineers
* Testing and Validation activities on Bench setups for Harman Head Units
* Support Program Managers with day-to-day program activities as needed
* Implement and maintain test scripts to ensure automated test applies to all programs.
* Design and implement software test libraries.
* Perform software and hardware verification.
* Perform exploratory testing.
* Assist customer or developers to debug issues.
* Perform daily overnight automated regression test to stress test system.
* Maintain/update defects database with a defect tracking tool.
* Maintain and set up validation vehicles.
* Support customer demo and test drive event.
Basic Qualifications:
•Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
•Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
•Must have taken courses in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
•Understanding of Object Oriented Programming Concepts
•Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives
•Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Eligibility Requirements:
•Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work.
•Willingness to travel.
•Willingness to work in an office.
•Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation, drug screen, and DMV background check.
•Must provide full work availability from May 2019 through August 2019 and be able to work 40 hours per week
•Highly prefer candidates who live within a commutable distance
