Hospice of Michigan has 1 part time weekend position. (Friday - Monday)
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing services or supervises the provision of nursing services to hospice patients in accordance with accepted standards of practice and Hospice of Michigan (HOM) guidelines. Performs advocacy and oversight of hospice services based on patient self-determination to assure patient and family/caregiver satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with possession of a current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of varied nursing experience required; hospice experience is preferred.
- Skilled in nursing practice with a demonstrated ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients and families.
- Must possess sound judgment and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills.
