Melt/Mold Manager
Manages the day-to-day operations of manufacturing facilities.Defines, monitors, and is held responsible for overall operations performance. Implements production, cost, and quality control mechanisms.Oversees operations, ensuring that schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.Manages staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; manages, motivates, and develops management team.Manages relationships with business, sales, and engineering; defines, delivers, and manages required service levels. Coordinates strategies, communications, and joint initiatives for facility.*Manages product and operations associate outcomes by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
*Achieves product and operations operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; identifying, developing, and implementing system improvements.
*Contributes to product and operations management and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
*Manages Plant priorities within their area of responsibility by reviewing customer orders and requirements; analyzing equipment, materials, and associate availability.
*Resolves production scheduling problems by analyzing reports; reviewing equipment, materials, and associate availability; conferring with production control; developing solutions.
*Prepares production information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
*Contributes to plant and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
*All other duties as assigned.
