HR Business Partner
The HRBP provides strategic support to align the functional goals with AAM policies, process and programs by driving organizational effectiveness, leading change management, talent development, and delivering talent retention and engagement activities. Demonstrates HR functional expertise and business acumen, and is seen as coach and trusted advisor to leaders. As the HRBP your responsibilities include talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and other steps through the associate life cycle for salaried associates. The role also includes talent management, organizational development, leadership development and partnership with assigned groups.
* Provide analysis and consulting to leaders in order to make data-driven people decisions; Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
* Serve as a strategic partner to assigned leaders to establish HR business objectives that align with the overall company plans and objectives
* Collaborate with other teams within the HR department (Talent Acquisition, compensation, HRIS, benefits, etc.) to support broader initiatives including performance and compensation planning, business unit restructures, workforce planning and leadership planning.
* Anticipate Human Resource needs based on business strategies and internal and external environmental and competitive factors
* Work closely with management and associates to improve working relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
* Administer HR policies, procedure and programs
Experience Required
* Prior experience working with senior leaders on succession planning, associate development, compensation planning, and employee relations
* Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action planning
* Experience utilizing Workday as the system of record for HRIS
* Ability to perform tactical as well as strategic work, must be action oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities across the assigned business unit groups.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven track record of building relationships at all levels of the organization
* Experience working in a matrixed, culturally diverse population required.
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or business related field, Master's degree preferred
* SPHR or PHR certification preferred
* A minimum of 7+ years of Human Resources experience
