The Connection Systems team has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Liaison/Customer Support Engineer located in Troy, MI. Under the direction of the NA Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for customer problem solving and resolution and third party containment management. The Quality Liaison/Customer Support Engineer will be responsible for customer/plant visits and must be able to work flexible days/hours and be able to travel as required.
•Responsible for visiting customer and plant sites and providing on-site support
•Evaluating customer concerns and employing problem solving techniques
•Ensuring flawless product launch
•Utilize supplier management skills (i.e. third party containment)
•Employ problem solving techniques to drive timely resolutions
•Responsible for concern management, resolution and closure
•Responsible for containment development and documentation
•Must be willing to work flexible days and hours, as well as, travel frequently on short notice Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (any discipline), Manufacturing, or Quality related
•3+ years' of experience with automotive electrical products including electrical connection systems, electrical centers and media devices
•3+ years' of experience with quality systems (IATF TS 16949)
•1+ years' of experience with corrective action quality process
•1+ years' of experience utilizing problem solving skills, APQP skills and supplier management skills (i.e. third party containment)
Preferred Qualifications:
•3+ years' experience with automotive electrical products including electrical connection systems, electrical centers and media devices
•3+ years' experience with quality systems (IATF TS 16949)
•1+ years' experience with corrective action quality process
•1 years' of experience utilizing problem solving skills, APQP skills and supplier management skills (i.e. third party containment)
