Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare monthly divisional financial statements.
- Present and discuss financial data with management during monthly review meetings.
- Analyze financial reports and trends identifying oddities.
- Research costs and data discrepancies.
- Compile data and prepare reports for budgets and forecasts.
- Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
- Sales and use tax calculations and monthly submittal report preparation.
- Prepare General Ledger journal entries and intercompany allocations.
- Perform data entry or data imports into various accounting software programs.
- Provide support to the Financial Analyst Managers.
- Build on your personal knowledge base through continued education and training.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Services.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of working experience in an Accounting role.
- Experience with reading and developing financial reports and interpreting data.
- Skilled with use of ERP systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including data manipulation using pivot tables, vlookups and formulas
- High attention to detail.
- Self-starter with ability to independently solve problems.
- Results oriented and able to follow through on commitments.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Personable and collaborative.
- Strong communicator both written and verbal.
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of personnel.
- Comfortable working in close contact with others in an open concept office environment.
- Demonstrated stress tolerance to work in a fast-paced office environment with definitive timelines.
Additional Information:
- Full-time position Monday-Friday with occasional work required outside the normal workday.
