Job Description

A Customer Service Representative (Teller) is responsible for completing a variety of customer service transactions.

1. Cash Handling 

Receive deposits, verify cash and endorsements, and issue receipts; accepts checks for cashing or paying, verify endorsements, validity and funds; prepare money orders, cashiers' checks, etc.; accept and process payments for all types of loans.

2. Customer Service

- Maintain a positive attitude with the public and co-workers; promote bank services through cross-selling and referral to other departments; explain bank services to existing and potential customers; remain knowledgeable about all bank services.

3. Other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

Three months to one year of customer service and cash handling experience.This job requires a credit check.Good telephone, arithmetic and computer skills.Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.Ability to compare names and numbers with speed and accuracy.Good communication skills.Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on an irregular basis.Ability to stand for long periods of time. Paid Time Off available after one year's service.
