LOCATION: Luce & Alger County
POSITION TITLE: Peer Support Specialist
POSITION STATUS: On-Call
SALARY RANGE: $13.78 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will perform a wide range of tasks to assist consumers in regaining control over their own lives and over their own recovery process. This position will role model competency in recovery and ongoing coping skills.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must meet all standards outlined by the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) to include having a severe mental illness. Applicant, upon being hired, will attend the MDCH Peer Support Specialist Certification training.
