Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs physical assessment, psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, clinical practice, triage, consultation, quality assurance, research, and education. Demonstrates clinical competence and engages in patient teaching. Supervises other nursing staff as appropriate. Possesses a professional certification, which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Graduate from a school of nursing and current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Successful completion of HFHS (Parent Operating Group) Pharmacology test.
- Certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, I.e., Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
CERTIFICATION: Registered Nurse
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Plastics or Surgery experience preferred
- Prior Surgical experience preferred
