LOCATION: Alger and/or Luce County
POSITION TITLE: BSW Outpatient Services Clinician
STATUS/HOURS: 80 hours biweekly, Regualr Full-Time (Non Union, C.5, Exempt)
CLASSIFICATION: Base of $17.75/hr to ten years at $24.07/hr Plus Full-Time Benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is under the supervision of the Program Supervisor or Clinical Director and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This position could provide case management and/or Supports Coordination services to a variety of clientele including adults, adolescents, children and families requesting services. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans using the person centered process, providing case management/supports coordination, and making appropriate referrals. Responsibilities also include monitoring treatment plans to assess recipient’s progress and readjusting as appropriate, carrying an active caseload, preparing case histories and needs assessments, follow-up, and aftercare. An employee in this class may be assigned specialization areas or special populations such as adult, child or adolescent. Crisis intervention (day and nighttime), groups or family meetings may be assigned. Participation in the delivery of emergency services (daytime and evening) is required.
Although this position can be located in either Alger or Luce County, the successful applicant will be expected to travel and provide case management, supports coordination and wraparound services in both locations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors of Social Work with State of Michigan licensure as a LBSW or LLBSW. Experience in professional human services is desired but all applicants will be considered.
