- Administers all Title 1 programs for the school;
- Supervises and trains Title I teachers; Facilitates/participates in both in-person and virtual training for teaching staff (Title 1, general education, special education);
- Facilitates collaboration between Title 1 and special education teachers;
- Promotes, supports, and takes an active role in student achievement;
- Creates training and process manuals for the department and teachers;
- Monitors and supports progress in supplemental math and English language arts instruction;
- Partners to facilitate new parent program orientations; Facilitates parent education sessions; Publishes weekly newsletters to families and contribution to other school publications about Title 1
- programs and targeted instruction; Supports parents and students by answering their questions via emails and telephone;
- Participates in regular education meetings and professional developments;
- Completes reports as required and submits them on time;
- Proctor standardized tests;
- Contribute to program development and compliancy efforts.
- Supervise and continue developing the FAST roles.
- Work closely with the FAST team to ensure all tasks are being completed by FAST or Advisors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree AND
- Five (5) years of experience Years working within Title I Program OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Required Certificates and Licenses: Valid California Teaching or Administrative Credential
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using search engines (Internet) for research projects
- Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
- Professional experience using MS Excel, MSWord, and Outlook
- Ability to pass required background check
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with district, board and state/federal agencies
- Previous supervisory experience
