The MGA – Lead General Ledger Analyst position is responsible for:
•Performing and supervising general ledger activity for all assembly and component plants in the US and Canada
•Preparing and auditing accounting close entries related to anything other than productive inventory
•Preparing and auditing all general ledger account reconciliations excluding productive inventory
•Coordinating quarterly setting of nonproductive inventory valuation allowances
•SME for nonproductive inventory transactions
•Supporting SOX controls, including updating designs and performing tests, as required
•Develop and review all Tax related submissions
•Leading business process redesign initiatives
•Impacting PSAP and legacy systems, working with 3rd party service provider personnel, both onshore and offshore, and keeping current desk top procedures

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance and/or a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA)
•Minimum 5 years of Accounting experience
•Experience with SAP – GL, AP and MM (Purchasing)
•Good working knowledge of accounting principles
Preferred Qualifications:
•CPA or CA designation preferred
