We are currently looking for a Global Sourcing Business Analyst to join our Supply Chain Team.
As a Global Sourcing Business Analyst, you will:
Collect, model, and analyze data for strategic sourcing projects, working with category managers to ensure integrity and clarity of spend date to enable accurate planning decisions. Evaluates purchasing data and market information to provide support and direction for the Procurement Department's strategies, initiatives, processes, and procedures. Support negotiations and supplier selection as required. Report on commodity driven cost downs and facilitate supplier commodity reviews for strategic suppliers by developing and tracking supplier performance metrics. This position has global coverage in addressing sourcing needs that may arise in any of Haworth’s many locations, including, but not limited to, PFG, AIS, Janus et Cie, and Tuohy.
Do you have the following required qualifications?
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or Finance.
- 4 years of experience in Supply Chain procurement or analytical experience, including exposure to process engineering, scheduling, planning, project management, and cost analysis.
- Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, up to 25 percent of time.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
- Strong project management skills with ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion.
- Ability to use statistics and analytical tools.
- Working business knowledge of supply chain management and optimization.
- Strategic planning, cross-functional support, and ability to leverage various sourcing tools with various opportunities while minimizing supply risk.
- Must possess strong decision-making skills, as well as keen attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
