We are currently looking for a Group Quality Manager to join our team in Holland, MI.
As a Group Quality Manager, you will:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve Haworth Quality Operating System across all North American sites and business units. Embed capable processes which enable zero defects, creating market place with Haworth customers and aligning globally across all segments of Haworth Value Stream. Appropriately and effectively use various business skills and tools to set strategic direction for Haworth Quality organization, impact critical quality metrics and develop your team. Lead other quality leaders across North American sites and business units.
Do you have the following required qualifications?
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Operations.
- 10 years of quality, engineering and/or operations experience (15 years for a non-engineering degree), including 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
- Experience specifically as a manager of quality operations.
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, up to 15% of time, at times with very short notice and with periods of extended travel away from home office.
Do you have the following preferred qualifications?
- Designation from American Society of Quality Control in Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) strongly preferred.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop people; build teams; fosters skills; deliver results; and facilitate change.
- Ability to teach and develop respective plant Quality teams and members across all sites.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking and financial and business planning skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, facilitation,
visualization, project management, planning, process development and improvement, communication (written and verbal) skills.
