Main Duties and Responsibilities
1.Coordinate and assist in modulation of samples according to written specifications. This includes working with microbiology samples that are considered “dangerous goods.”
2.Coordinate the pre-assembly of paperwork prior to each shipment for domestic and international customers. Involved in the transportation, stock control, warehousing, and monitoring of goods in and out of the warehouse.
3.Assess and monitor daily job functions, ensuring the provision of quality services in a cost effective/efficient manner.
4.Participate in ongoing process improvement activities and other related activities
5.Ensure packages are highly regarded and receive exceptional service during the selecting, shipping, and receiving of products to and from the warehouse.
6.Address problems with production or shipping delays, quality-control issues such as damaged or improperly packed goods, and problems with capacity and customer deadlines
7.Communicate, collaborate, and act as a liaison between other departments and customers to ensure continuity and coordination of services. Works with key individuals to expedite orders, research best method of shipment, resolving discrepancies and other related activities.
8.Be Accountable for both quality and quantity of output
9.Strong reliance on monitoring and coordination of activities, as well as good planning skills and judgement, are essential to meet deadlines.
10.Respond to events and issues that threaten the productivity schedule and/or quality of operation, as well as the health and safety of team members.
