Position Description:
•Lead role in supporting DCAA/DCMA/DACO audits including, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
•Ensure timely submission of audit packages
•Manage requests for information
•Provide initial assessment of audit report(s)
•Brief Leadership
•Perform technical research to support GDLS position
•Support negotiations of settlements
•Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution
•Consult with GDLS Legal counsel as needed to resolve difficult legal compliance issues
•Lead role in executing contract closeouts
•Primary liaison with ACO's
•Initiate closeout process resulting from ACO/CA requests
•Ensure comprehensive closeout package is documented, complete, and accurate
•Obtain all necessary approvals
•Support SOX audits for contract awards
•Review relevant SOX controls for process continuity
•Provide population for sampling
•Compile and explain supporting documentation
•Support Contract Operations team including, but not limited to:
•Proposal and Contracts status and tracking
•AoC/AoP Management
•Facilitate and manage Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) inquiries
•Support Contracts Vision 2020 Lead
•Provide mentorship and guidance to entry level employees within the Compliance & Operations Contracts group
Position Requirements:
•Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other appropriate Liberal Arts. Other degrees or disciplines considered with experience.
•Minimum 7 years' experience or 5 years with Master's Degree
•2+ years of audit or compliance related experience preferred
•Strong working knowledge of Government contract laws and regulations. Knowledge of FAR/DFAR preferred.
•Ability to develop and maintain key relationships with all internal and external customers, including varying levels of GDLS management, DCMA, DCAA, DACO, TACOM
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
•Represent the organization in a highly professional manner and can be relied upon to exemplify company values and standards when dealing with internal and external clients.
•Ability to resolve and complete complex Compliance assignments/problems with minimal supervision utilizing ingenuity and innovation.
•Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) required.
•Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
•Some travel required.
