Design Engineer - Harness

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for design and release of installation drawings, interconnect diagrams, wiring diagrams, and wiring harness assemblies.
- Work with systems engineers to define whole vehicle pin-level interconnect.
- Define wiring harness partitions.
- Work with physical architects to define harness routing and device packaging.
- Provide source data to CAD designers to model and route harnesses and generate CAD drawings.
- Develop parts lists and work with Integration engineers during prototype builds.
- Manage and resolve build and field issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience with wiring, plant support, and engineering build phases desired.
- Able to lead multi-engineer projects and balance cost/schedule/technical priorities.
- Occasional overtime, and weekend hours may be required to complete critical tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio desirable.
- Experience with Mentor Graphics Capital, Pro-E Creo, and NX desirable.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years of post-graduate work experience required.
